MOORESVILLE – EXIT 33 & NEW EXIT 32 & Exit 36 - LAKE NORMAN

Mooresville Crossing - The $25 million second phase is being developed by New South Properties of the Carolinas, close to Morrison Plantation and includes Ashely Furniture Home Store and Hickory Tavern.  Space for another 5000 sq. ft. of small shops will be available in September.

Hempstead II - Mooresville planning is holding public hearings on a conditional us rezoning request from residential to meddium density residential to provide for 83 single family homes on 25 acres off East Iredell Avenue.  When combined with Hempstead I the development will have 180 homes.  The developer also plans a 3.19 acre public greenway along Coddle Creek.  

Rocky River Road -  unnamed 235 home subdivision on 107 acres split across NC 3 near Rocky River Road.

Waterlynn Road - 162 Condo units at northwest corner of Waterlynn Road and US 21.  This development has gone back to the advisory planning board for review as the town board recommended changes. 

Legacy Village - Mixed use community between Lowe's Company Inc. headquarters and Lake Norman Regional Medical Center to include townhomes, condos, offices and upscale shopping and dining.  First residences exppected to be ready by the summer.  www.LegacyVillageNC.com

 Langtree At The Lake -  An $800 million mixed use development including a 12 story Embassy Suites Hotel, a 4 story hotel, a convention center, condos, retail and office space, a marina and a golf course on 126 acres at I 77 and Langtree Road. The condos will start at $600,000 and top out at $2 million. This location is the proposed future Exit 32 on the I 77. The Gateway - Hilton Garden Inn - Work halfway done on 122 room Hilton Garden Inn which will be a full-service hotel with 2500 sq. ft. of meeting space.  Hotel being built due to proximity of Lowe's Cos. Inc. headquarters and Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.

Mooresville – Land Development Plan

The Mooresville Mills - Redevelopment of the former Mooresville Mills/Burlington industries textile factory into 230 condos and lofts, 70 live-work units, retail and offices on 39 acres off South Main Street in downtown Mooresville.  Total buildout is expected to be 5 years.

Promenade on the Lake - A $60 to $80 million resort, icluding a hotel with condos and a conference center, a spa and retail space on 16.5 acres off NC 150 next to Queens Landing.  Likely to go for zoning before Mooresville Town Board next year.

Byers Creek – 205 home community with 27,600 square feet of retail buildings including Harris Teeter on corner of NC 150 and Perth Road.  Construction underway.  Retail center should open in the fal.

Magnolia Bay - 32 Charleston-style homes on the south side of Cornelius Road.  Two other phses, Magnolia Bay East with 15 homes and Magnolia Bay West with 15 homes along Pinto and Homer Lanes is planned.l” architectural style.
