Lowes at HWY 150 - The Board of Commissioners approved Lowe's to build a 22 acre site at 5374 Hwy 150 East, just west of the intersection with Slanting Bridge Road. Lowe's is expected to build 172,953 sq. ft. building including garden center,storage, staging and office areas. The two outparcels of 1.27 acres and two 1.05 acres has proposed uses to include retail, bank, office, drug store, eating and drinking establishments and.or drive-thru, convenience stores with fuel sales and grocery store.

Crescent has four parcels scheduled for development in Sherrills Ford.
Key Harbor - 1500 residential units including more than 100 waterfront homes on 705 acres, 829 lots between Island Point Road and Molly’s Backbone. The community will include clubhouses, a soccer field, swimming pools, tennis courts, walking trails and 150 acres of open space. MAG Land will develop Key Harbor.
Crescent Resources Village Center - Plans up to 350 single family homes, multifamily units and homes for senior citizens. It includes 414000 sq. ft. of retail space, 163000 sq. ft of office space and 77,000 sq. ft. of mixed-use retail.
Terrapin Creek – 637 acre residential development with 450 lots off Molly’s Backbone & Sherrills Ford Road.
Mountain Creek – 605 acre conservation park for recreation & open space.

Terrell Village Square – retail professional office complex with 4 buildings, 37500 sq. Ft. on 6.58 acres on the south side of NC 150 right next to the planned Crescent Resources “Village Center”.
Seven Springs – 25 lot subdivision planned for 27 acres on Saunders Drive, near Monbo Road and the Lake Norman Woods development.
